Let's take a break from fashion and talk about life...

Hi my dearies,

I know I haven't been blogging pretty much this whole year. But the IB program is really really tough and you really need so much stamina to keep going on and on about work and work. There are some people who can manage this kind of lifestyle well, while the others not so much...

I'm in the middle range, where I just do what is needed to be done in order to understand and not make a fool out of myself during the exam itself. However, thinking about it, all that we are doing now is for us to get a piece of paper, or, a certificate of graduation. And then I question, is this going to be worth it? Sometimes I'm so discouraged by a few people around me about the worth of this all, but then I think again, anything can happen in the future.

So what if I have already decided to be a full-time violinist/musician, what if my arms/hands become paralyzed tomorrow for the rest of my life? If that happens, (let's hope not) will I give up on life? Will I have no future?

I think, that's where the certificate comes in. It is a recognition of my educational level in which I can find a wide range of other jobs with. Actually, come to think of it, I have witnessed this kind of miracles. She is my friend who is a dancer who broke her arm during a sports game, after various procedures and operations, she found out that she can never dance as well as she did in the past. Though she was devastated by this news, she did not give up on life (not even close). She sought other alternatives where she started to discover stage management. She is now very happy with what she has and what she is doing.

I assure myself that what I'm doing now is all going to be worth it as we have no control over what will happen in the future. I am sure some of my readers are also going through this kind of conversations with yourself and you're wondering if this is all going to be worth it. Most of the times, as much as we do not want to admit to it, gain must always come with pain. There's no free lunch in the world and no free shelter, you must always earn them.

I will be changing this blog into something more personal than just talking about fashion and style, so that you readers can get to know me as well. Please do give me comments as I really want this to be an interactive platform :)

That's all lovelies!
