I'll be doing a brief fashion runway overview on Christian Dior's Spring 2013 Ready-To-Wear!
Label: Christian Dior
Collection: Spring 2013 Ready-to-wear
Desginer: Raf Simons
As you can see, the v-neck is apparent in all kinds of designs in this particular collection. The v-neck always makes an outfit more flirtatious and alluring. In my opinion, it works for both men and women! And I'm a big fan of subtle v-neck lines, like the first outfit!
The neck scarves
The neck scarves featured in this collection are statement pieces as the widths of the scarves span the entire neck of the models. I think it adds a sense of class to the outfits; almost like air stewardess where they are always prim and proper. Neck scarves would complement people who have longer necks, where these statement scarves would "break" the length of the neck and have an illusion of a shorter neck.
I am in love with these suits! They look so refined and tailored, don't you think? Also, Raf Simons have made the suits lady-like by transforming it into dresses. Together with the V-neck line, I'd say he got it and made them even more appealing to ladies.
Unexpected splash of neon
I just love these splashes of neon on the runway. As you can see, the looks previously are mostly black and white or monotone colors. However, these outfits with neon yellow and pink-red are just so fun, and added interests into the runway!
What do you think of these trends of this collection and coverage?
That's all lovelies!
